Embedded Software Engineer at JK Microsystems

From August 1999 to May 2002

At the time of my hiring, I was in high school and the 4th employee of JK Microsystems. With experience in hardware and software, my responsibilities ranged from software development, to demo system construction, to re-work of manufactured boards for special orders.

My projects included:

• Development, from scratch, of an embedded PPP & networking stack, including SMTP, etc for DOS.
• A computer controlled model railroad as a conference demo for our products.
• Internal accounting software
• GPS drivers for DOS
